If you have an internet connection then you can easily conduct a criminal record search. With a few clicks of the mouse and answering some basic information you will see the records you are seeking. Gone are the days of going from courthouse to courthouse and manually looking for the criminal records you need to view. You can do the search in the comfort of your home any time of day or night. Some cities have their judicial system online for the public to conduct searches in. If you know the exact name of the person you want to know about you can enter their name into the courthouse website. On the basic search it will show you any records that were found on the person. You will see the name, age, the city, state and zip code of where they reside, the type of offense they committed and what the charge is classified. If you would like to see more details about the crime the person is charged with it is going to cost a small fee. The reason there is a fee charged is because in order for the websites to keep their information up to date they have to file paperwork with all the judicial systems. When the judicial systems agree to grant the websites entrance they charge a yearly fee for this information. So now the website has no choice, but to charge their customers in order to keep everything running smoothly and the records up to date. Some of the websites you will encounter will only charge you a one time yearly fee. While others will give you the option to pay for each arrest record you are searching for. The choice is yours as to which way would fit your needs better. If you only need to see basic information then you can do so for free. If you need to see more details about a person then you will be charged a small fee for an enormous amount of information for you to view. Remember you will be seeing more than just their criminal records. You will learn so much about the person you will wonder why you did not conduct any criminal record searches earlier.
